Jesus Lemus Died, 3 Others Injured in Tragic Accident on Highway 95

Clark County Coroner’s Office identified victim killed in crash
LAS VEGAS, Nevada (March 5th, 2016) – One man died and three other victims were injured in a tragic collision on Highway 95 in the northwest side of the valley, reported KSNV News3LV.

Jesus Lemus, 30, of Las Vegas, was killed after the Nissan Frontier he was driving rear-ended a Ford Fusion on Highway 95 near Kyle Canyon Road, causing both vehicles to leave the roadway. (map)

The three occupants in the Nissan were not wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. The driver, Lemus, was airlifted by helicopter to University Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.

Two passengers in the Nissan, one of them 12-years-old, were taken by ambulance to UMC with unspecified injuries.

The sole occupant of the Ford was wearing his seat belt and had to be extricated from the overturned vehicle. He was taken by ambulance to UMC and was reported to be in critical condition.

Other than Lemus, the other victims’ identities have not been made known at this time. We wish the injured parties a full recovery and will keep them in our thoughts and prayers.
