Linda McCoy Died Weeks After Tragic Pedestrian Accident on Warm Springs Road
Victim struck while walking in marked crosswalk
A woman died two weeks after being hit by a vehicle while walking in a marked crosswalk near the McCarran International Airport, reported the Las Vegas Sun.
At about 3:10 p.m. on February 26th, 49-year-old Linda McCoy, of North Las Vegas, was struck by a 16-year-old driving a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze near East Warm Springs and South Spencer Street. (map)
Tragically, McCoy died Thursday, March 10th, at University Medical Center.
The investigation indicated McCoy was walking across Warm Springs in a marked crosswalk when the teen driver hit her in an attempt to make a left turn from southbound Shadow Crest Drive to eastbound Warm Springs
According to Metro police, the collision remains under investigation.
