Car Crashed into Golden Nugget Hotel-Casino, Pedestrian Injured

Victim may have been Golden Nugget employee
A driver was arrested and at least one person injured Friday night in a DUI, pedestrian accident at a hotel in downtown Las Vegas , reported KTNV news.

According to police, a driver in a white car backed into a wall at the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino. The driver was arrested after fleeing the scene and crashing into a nearby tree.

At least one pedestrian was injured in the incident and was taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries. The victim may have been a Golden Nugget employee.

Hit-and-Run Accident at Buffalo Drive and Spring Mountain Road, Two People Injured

Driver fled the scene after collision
At least two people suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Thursday morning in the western part of the valley, reported FOX5 news.

Three vehicles were involved in the accident that occurred at about 6:57 a.m. at Buffalo Drive and Spring Mountain Road. (map)

A Jeep involved in the incident fled the scene and drove on Spring Mountain Road towards Durango Drive. The driver of the Jeep entered an apartment complex on Spring Mountain Road and left the vehicle on foot.

The person, whose identity has not been made known, later returned to the scene to request medical attention and was transported to Southern Hills Hospital for treatment. Police suspect the person appeared to be intoxicated.

Man Killed, Ran Over by Vehicle on Alta Drive and Easy Street

64-year-old man died in pedestrian accident
A man died on Friday evening after he was fatally struck by a vehicle near Alta Drive and Easy Street, according to The Republic. (map)

A preliminary investigation indicated the 64-year-old man was in the eastbound lane at about 8:00 p.m. when he was ran over by a Pontiac Trans Sport. A vehicle in front of the Pontiac swerved out of the way however the 52-year-old male driver of the Pontiac was unable to avoid impact with the victim.

Tragically, the man, whose identity has not been made known, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No charges have been filed against the driver. The collision remains under investigation.
