Rollover Accident on U.S. Highway 95 near Kyle Canyon Road, Two Seriously Injured

Driver suspected of impairment
Two people suffered serious injuries Sunday evening in an auto accident on US-95, reported FOX5 news.

At about 5:17 p.m., a Dodge Challenger overturned on U.S. Route 95 at mile marker 97, near Kyle Canyon Road. (map)

The male driver and female passenger were transported to University Medical Center in serious condition.

According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, impairment is suspected as a factor in this crash.

The NHP will issue a report after a thorough analysis of the evidence.

Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Blue Diamond Road

54-year-old victim died in southwest valley hit-and-run
A man died early this morning after being struck by a vehicle on a southwest Las Vegas valley road, reported FOX5 News.

At about 1:40 a.m., a vehicle hit a pedestrian, identified only as a 54-year-old man, crossing Blue Diamond Road just east of Cimarron Drive. (map)

The victim was found by a Metro officer who was responding to a call of a body in the road. The victim was transported to St. Rose Dominican Hospital, San Martin Campus, where he was pronounced dead.

The Nevada Highway Patrol reported a headlight lens was found at the scene. The vehicle involved was silver of unknown make and model and likely to have front-end damage.

Pedestrian Accident at Smoke Ranch Road and Rock Springs Drive, Victim Seriously Injured

A woman was seriously injured yesterday afternoon in an auto-pedestrian collision in the northwest valley, reported the Las Vegas Sun.

The accident happened at about 2:20 p.m. at the intersection of Smoke Ranch Road and Rock Springs Drive, near U.S. Highway 95. (map)

The woman who was struck was taken to University Medical Center with serious injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.
