Two vehicles collided early this morning in an apparent DUI accident in the northeast valley, reported KTNV news.

The crash occurred at about 5:10 a.m. near the intersection of Carey Avenue and Nellis Boulevard. (map)

Ashlee Swift and Many Others Seriously Injured in Tragic Shuttle Bus Accident on I-15

Swift lost an arm in crash caused by drunk driver
A Louisville woman lost her arm and about a dozen others were also injured in the tragic shuttle bus accident that occurred over the weekend on Interstate 15, reported WDRB news.

A couple from Louisville, Kentucky – Ashlee Swift and Anthony Alston – had plans to get married in Las Vegas over the weekend. The pair were in a Mercedes-Benz shuttle headed for a helicopter ride on March 12th when a drunk driver swerved into the bus and caused a serious accident on I-15 near Washington Avenue. (map)

Eleven others were also injured and taken to either University Medical Center or Sunrise Hospital Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

Orlando Gunn, 51, who was driving the 2000 Toyota Celica involved in the crash, was taken into custody Saturday night on suspicion of driving under the influence. He was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on 10 counts of DUI resulting in substantial bodily harm. Gunn also faces charges of reckless driving, failure to maintain a lane, having an open alcohol container in a vehicle and failure to wear a seat belt.

According to KSNV News3LV, Gunn’s ex-girlfriend, known only as Angelique, said she broke up with Gunn the day of the crash. Gunn reportedly has a history of drinking and driving and was arrested in 2013 for DUI in Henderson.
