Annabelle Follosco Died in Tragic Hiking Accident at Turtlehead Peak in Red Rock Canyon

Hiker discovered Monday afternoon in Red Rock Canyon
A young woman died while hiking in Red Rock Canyon over the weekend, reported KSNV News3LV.

Annabelle Follosco, 27, of Las Vegas was found at the bottom of a canyon in the Turtlehead Peak area. (map)

Friends of Follosco notified Metro police around 4 p.m., Sunday afternoon after she failed to meet back up with other hikers. The Search and Rescue team worked until 2 a.m., Monday morning, then resumed the search at 5 a.m.

Rescuer’s eventually found her body in the Turtlehead Peak area.
